Dr. Rafael Ferritto
CO-Founder & CTO
PhD in Organic Chemistry, University of Lausanne, IE Executive MBA , With over 13 years of experience in drug discovery at multinational pharmaceutical companies such as GSK and Eli Lilly, Dr. Ferritto has spearheaded preclinical research in neuroscience and metabolic diseases. As a founder of 4Ammonium Biotech and co-founder of Nanoinnova Technologies, he brings an entrepreneurial spirit and deep expertise in organic chemistry and prodrug development. Dr. Ferritto has authored 36 scientific publications and patents and has led multiple collaborative projects bridging academia and industry, including EU and CDTI-funded initiatives.
Dr. Francisco Javier Señorans

Full Professor at UAM, PhD in Chemical Science, is a world-renowned expert in lipid chemistry and food science, with over 20 years of research experience at institutions like CSIC, UAM, and Uppsala University. He has led numerous public-private research consortia, collaborating with more than 40 groups across Europe. With over 120 publications and 8 patents (2 successfully transferred to industry), he has been instrumental in creating innovative functional food products. Pedro is a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in launching and scaling innovative ventures across various industries. His expertise spans operations, finance, and business strategy, making him a key driver of Bioceanics' growth. Pedro serves as a jury member for the prestigious European Innovation Council (EIC), where he evaluates cutting-edge technologies and business proposals, reflecting his leadership and deep understanding of innovation ecosystems. His entrepreneurial mindset and strategic vision ensure the seamless execution of Bioceanics’ projects and long-term scalability.
Clara Bartra
CO-Founder & CEO
Co-founder and business development leader with extensive experience in the food industry, innovation, and investment. Clara has successfully driven transformative projects in global corporations like GBFoods, where she led innovation and strategic growth initiatives. She co-founded Ivoro Ventures, a venture builder specializing in agrifood tech, and actively mentors startups through programs such as EIT Food. Her deep understanding of market trends and ability to connect corporates with startups have made her a key figure in accelerating sustainable innovation in the food sector
